When you ride with TransLux Coach, you may notice a Samsara Dual Dash Camera mounted near the windshield. This advanced system helps promote safe driving practices while providing valuable information in the event of an incident.

The Samsara Dual Dash Camera features two lenses:

• Forward-Facing Camera: Records the roadway ahead to capture driving conditions, traffic events, and potential hazards.
• Cabin-Facing Camera: Records activity inside the vehicle, including the driver's actions and the passenger compartment, as well as views through the side and rear windows.

Unlike traditional surveillance systems, the Samsara Dual Dash Camera is designed with intelligent event detection. While the camera continuously buffers video, recordings are only retained when a significant safety event occurs. These events may include:
